Introduction

lambdarware (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") shall handle user information, including personal information, on newslogia (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by the Service Provider. The Service Provider has established the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") regarding the handling of user information, including personal information, on newslogia.

The Japanese version of Privacy Policy shall be the only authentic version. Translations into other languages are provided only for the convenience of users, and only the Japanese version shall be legally binding between users and the Service Provider.

1. User information to be collected and collection method

5. Third party provision

Service Providers shall not provide Personal Information among User Information to any third party without prior consent of the User, except in cases where disclosure is permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations. However, this shall not apply to the following cases.

  1. When Service Provider entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
  2. When personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business due to a merger or other reasons
  3. When personal information is provided to an external service as described in Section 4
  4. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or a person or organization entrusted by either of the foregoing in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and there is a risk that obtaining the user's consent will impede the execution of such affairs

6. Disclosure of Personal Information

When Service Provider is requested by a User to disclose his/her Personal Information in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law, Service Provider shall disclose the Personal Information to the User without delay after confirming that the request is made by the User him/herself (if the relevant Personal Information does not exist, Service Provider shall notify the User to that effect). However, this does not apply to cases where the Service Provider is not obligated to disclose the information according to the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations. Please note that a handling fee (1,000 yen per case) will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.

7. Correction and suspension of use of personal information

8-1. When Service Provider receives a request from a User to (1) correct the contents of personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law on the grounds that the personal information is not true, or (2) stop using personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information (3) In the case of a request for the cessation of use of personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law on the grounds that the information has been handled beyond the scope of the previously announced purpose of use or has been collected by deception or other wrongful means, we will conduct the necessary investigation without delay after confirming that the request is made by the user, and based on the results, we will correct the content of the personal information or cessation of use and notify the user to that effect. 8-2. When Service Provider is requested by a User to erase the User's personal information, Service Provider shall, if Service Provider deems it necessary to respond to the request, erase the personal information after confirming that the request is made by the User himself/herself, and notify the User to that effect.

8-3. The provisions of the preceding two paragraphs shall not apply when the Service Provider is not obligated to make corrections, etc. or suspend use, etc. under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations.

9. Procedure for changing the privacy policy

Service Provider shall review the operation status regarding the handling of User Information as necessary and strive for continuous improvement, and may change this Policy as necessary. In the event of any changes, Service Provider will notify Users by email. However, in the case of a change in content that requires the user's consent under the law, the user's consent shall be obtained in a manner prescribed by the service provider.
